Industry overview

Materials Selected Around Real Service Conditions

Aerospace components can face temperature extremes, low pressure, vibration, electrical demands, strict weight targets and close dimensional control. Material traceability and agreed inspection are essential even when the polymer itself is well understood.

JAIFUXIN supplies PCTFE, PEEK, PTFE, filled PTFE and PI stock or machined components for non-flight and application-specific aerospace equipment. Qualification, approvals and testing remain project-specific and must be agreed before any regulated use.

Engineering priorities

Application Challenges to Define First

These factors guide the material, grade, product form, manufacturing process and inspection plan.

01

Temperature Extremes

Evaluate cryogenic or elevated-temperature properties together with load and cycling.

02

Low Permeability

Control gas and moisture transmission in valve, instrument and barrier components.

03

Weight and Strength

Balance density, stiffness, wear and geometry against metal or other polymer alternatives.

04

Traceability and Inspection

Define material certificates, drawing control, first article and dimensional reporting.

Frequently asked questions

Aerospace & Defense Fluoropolymer FAQ

Why is PCTFE used in aerospace and cryogenic equipment?

PCTFE offers low gas permeability, low moisture absorption and useful dimensional stability at low temperatures, making it a candidate for valve seats, seals and barrier parts.

When is PEEK preferred over PTFE?

PEEK provides greater strength, stiffness and load capacity. PTFE generally provides lower friction and broader chemical inertness. The component duty determines the choice.

Does JAIFUXIN claim aerospace approval for every product?

No. Aerospace qualification is project-specific. Required standards, approvals, tests and traceability must be agreed and verified before use.

Can first-article inspection be arranged?

First-article dimensions and reports can be discussed during quotation according to the drawing, sampling plan and customer requirements.

Which information is needed for a cryogenic valve part?

Provide fluid or gas, pressure, temperature range, cycling, leakage target, mating materials, dimensions, tolerances and required tests.

Can small prototype quantities be manufactured?

Prototype feasibility depends on stock, tooling, geometry, tolerance and inspection needs. Send the drawing and application details for review.
