Tube and tubing usually refer to products controlled by ID, OD and wall thickness. Hose may imply greater flexibility or reinforcement. Confirm dimensions, pressure rating and construction instead of relying on the name alone.
FEP and PFA are melt-processable fluoropolymers with strong chemical resistance. FEP is often more flexible and transparent, while PFA is generally preferred at higher temperatures and in demanding high-purity systems. See the FEP material guide.
FEP is a fluoropolymer and may be sold under fluoropolymer trade-name families, but FEP and PTFE are different polymers. Purchase specifications should use the generic material and grade.
